What is life like as an expat in your area?
When we asked people living abroad what life is like in their areas and how people spend their time, they said...
"Everybody is trying to make a living. Grow food if you can, or at least know someone who does! Work is vitally important, even a day work is important, unlike America. A day work is also respected! You have to get with Cricket and u have to get with Futbol (soccer). If you don't get to know the people in your village, you are doing yourself a disservice," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to St Johns, Antigua & Barbuda.
"Life for expats and digital nomads in Antigua & Barbuda is generally quite pleasant. The country is known for its beautiful beaches, warm climate, and friendly locals. Expats and digital nomads can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, with plenty of opportunities to explore the islands' culture and history. The cost of living is relatively low, and the country offers a variety of accommodation options, from luxury resorts to more affordable apartments. The country also offers a wide range of activities, from snorkeling and diving to hiking and sailing. With its laid-back atmosphere and stunning scenery, Antigua & Barbuda is an ideal destination for expats and digital nomads looking for a peaceful and enjoyable place to live," commented one expat who made the move to Antigua & Barbuda.
