Will I be able to find a job in Bahamas?
When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Bahamas, they reponded...
"Lack of employment is one of the biggest problems in the Bahamas. Most of the money invested here is in the tourism and banking industries and even that is struggling lately. It is VERY difficult to come here as a foreigner and work for a local company. Most expats either work for hotel chains, banks or come here working for themselves, working online or as investors and retirees," remarked another expat who made the move to New Providence, Bahamas.
"Foreigners often work in hospitality-related industries in the Bahamas, such as in hotels and resorts, restaurants, and recreational activities. They may also find jobs in the country's tourism and manufacturing sectors. In addition, they can find opportunities in the service industry, such as working in retail stores, food and beverage operations, providing passenger services, and working as security personnel," explained one expat living in Bahamas.
