"I don't know what the main industries are in Beijing. I only have experience teaching although exporting cheap Chinese goods is common. Any type of career opportunities exist if you are a native English speaker, although outside teaching, Mandarin is helpful. Word of mouth and who you know are how most people already living here find work. The internet is second if you don't live here already. They may also work in the fields of finance, software engineering, healthcare, and engineering.
