Will I be able to find a job in Ghana?
When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Ghana, they reponded...
"Foreigners often have jobs in Ghana in a variety of fields, such as teaching, engineering, business, and hospitality. They may also work in the medical field, as doctors, nurses, or other medical professionals. Additionally, many foreigners find employment in the oil and gas industry, as well as in the banking and finance sector. Other popular job opportunities for foreigners include working in the tourism industry, as tour guides or in other related roles," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Ghana.
"Oil, gas, mining, breweries, and cocoa industries are the main industries. Senior management or technical positions are the major career opportunities but work visas are limited so generally need to be very senior or have unique skills. Jobs are usually advertised on overseas websites or people are promoted within," commented one expat who made the move to Accra, Ghana.
