When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Mexico, they reponded...

"Mostly corporate headquarters, all major international companies have offices here. Having a network and connections is very important. It is often that one will get a call from a friend who knows about a position at his or her company and will "invite" you to apply," commented one expat who made the move to Mexico City, Mexico.

"The automotive industry is huge--GM, Chrysler, Daimler, John Deere, among others, and their suppliers have plants here. With my husband being a Mexican engineer, we always knew that we'd live here someday. And if we ever move away, we'll probably be sent back, sooner or later. Good thing I like it here," remarked another expat in Saltillo, Mexico.
