Is there a lot of diversity? Are people in Brunei accepting of differences?

Answer this Question

When we asked people about diversity in Brunei and whether locals are accepting of differences, they said...

"Brunei is a small, multi-ethnic nation with a population of around 430,000 people. The majority of the population is Malay, but there are also significant Chinese, Indian, and indigenous communities. Brunei is a very tolerant and accepting society, and people of different backgrounds and beliefs are welcomed and respected. Brunei is a very diverse nation, and its citizens are proud of their cultural heritage and the diversity of their population," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Brunei.
