When we asked about the schools in Laos, they said...

"The International School of Laos (ISL) is one of the best international schools in Laos. Located in Vientiane, the capital city, ISL offers a comprehensive international curriculum from pre-K to grade 12. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and provides a rigorous academic program that prepares students for university studies. ISL also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and art. The Vientiane International School (VIS) is another excellent international school in Laos. VIS offers a bilingual program in English and Lao, and provides a comprehensive curriculum from pre-K to grade 12. "I think this school is great. My kids seem to be enjoying it so that is the main thing! It's much cheaper than other International Schools in Vientiane! (In saying that it doesnt mean the teaching/school work etc is of low standard!!)... The teachers are easy to approach, most are foreign (Australian, English, American etc ALL speak english), so if you have concerns you can approach your childs teacher for a meeting. The school staff are very helpful! If you have in issue dropping your kids off to school or bringing them home, the school can arrange a "one off" bus ride home for them. My kids have now been going there for 8 months and actually look forward to going to school! Im impressed!," said one expat in Vientiane with children at Kiettisack International School.
