We asked people living in Honduras to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Honduras, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and culture. Bring clothing that is lightweight and breathable, as well as items that will protect you from the sun. It is also important to bring items that will help you stay connected to family and friends back home, such as a laptop, phone, and internet access. Additionally, it is a good idea to bring a first aid kit, insect repellent, and any necessary medications. Finally, don't forget to bring a few items that will help you feel at home, such as photos, books, and other personal items," said a member in Honduras.

"If your moving to La Ceiba from outside of Honduras, the less you bring the better. Unless you are attached to your car, furniture etc. You can find everything you will ever need," remarked another expat who made the move to La Ceiba, Honduras.
