"Property is expensive, whether you buy or rent. In the cities of Zurich, Geneva, Basel and Bern, prices can be astronomic," remarked another expat in Olten, Switzerland.
"About the same as in the San Francisco Bay Area. A nice small (100 sq. meters) ski chalet is about USD 450,000. I think that's because it is in a tourist area. I know that some places of comparable size are less expensive in Interlaken," said a member in Wengen, Switzerland.
