"The cost of housing in Turkey varies depending on the location and type of property. Generally, the cost of renting an apartment in a city center is higher than in the suburbs, while the cost of buying a house is higher in the suburbs than in the city center. On average, the cost of renting an apartment in Turkey is relatively affordable, while the cost of buying a house is slightly more expensive," said a member in Turkey.

"Do your research. Inflation over 70% so real estate is the only place to put your money. Russian/Ukraine situation has 100,000 new emigres all buying. Both conditions make real estate at the higher prices compared to anyplace in the world," remarked another expat who made the move to Turkey.
