"Housing costs in Istanbul are expensive compared to the UK - even compared to London. The average cost of, for example, a 3 bed apartment on a compound would probably be approx. US$ 3,000 per month. Villas on similar compounds can be rented for anything between US$ 4,500 - 10,000 per month," said another expat in Istanbul, Turkey.
"Do your research. Inflation over 70% so real estate is the only place to put your money. Russian/Ukraine situation has 100,000 new emigres all buying. Both conditions make real estate at the higher prices compared to anyplace in the world," wrote a member who made the move to Turkey.
