"Costs were lower. Our rent was good, markets provided our fruit and vegies. The real cost was buying red meat and getting good quality meat. "The cost of housing in Fiji varies depending on the location and type of accommodation. Generally, the cost of renting a house or apartment in Fiji is relatively affordable compared to other countries in the region. Prices for a one-bedroom apartment in a city center can range from around $400 to $800 per month, while a three-bedroom house in a suburban area can cost between $600 and $1,200 per month," explained one expat living in Fiji.
