"The cost of housing in Martinique varies depending on the location and type of accommodation. Generally, the cost of renting an apartment or house in Martinique is relatively affordable compared to other Caribbean islands. Prices for a one-bedroom apartment in a city center can range from around €400 to €800 per month, while a three-bedroom apartment in a more rural area can cost around €600 to €1,000 per month," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Martinique.
"Housing cost are double the amount in comparison to USA. A typical 3 bedroom apartment in Missouri could cost you around $500-$1000. Here no less than $800 to start. It's very common for a three bedroom small apartment to cost €1200 average," commented one expat who made the move to Scholcher, Martinique.
