We asked expats in Greece what banks they use and there advice about banking. They advised...

"1. Expats should research the cost of living in Greece before retiring there, as it can be quite expensive in some areas. 2. It is important to understand the healthcare system in Greece, as expats may need to purchase private health insurance. 3. Expats should also familiarize themselves with the tax system in Greece, as there are different rules for foreign residents. 4. It is important to learn some basic Greek before retiring in Greece, as it will make everyday life much easier. 5. Expats should also research the different types of visas available to them, as some may be more suitable for retirement than others. 6. It is also important to research the different types of retirement benefits available in Greece, as they may be different from those in other countries. 7. Expats should also consider the climate in Greece, as it can be quite hot in the summer months. 8. Finally, expats should research the different types of housing available in Greece, as this will be an important factor in their decision to retire there," commented one expat who made the move to Greece.
