Where should I setup a bank account in Netherlands?
We asked expats in Netherlands what banks they use and there advice about banking. They advised...
"Before retiring in The Netherlands, expats should make sure to familiarize themselves with the country's culture and customs. Also, it is important to research the cost of living to make sure it fits their budget. Additionally, expats should make sure to obtain a resident permit in order to take advantage of certain benefits such as access to the healthcare system. Finally, expats need to be aware that most of the population speaks Dutch, so it would be beneficial to have basic proficiency in the language before retiring," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Netherlands.
"I have both international and local bank facilities which allows me to focus my financial needs each each area," commented one expat who made the move to The Hague, Netherlands.
