How are healthcare services in Saint Lucia?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Saint Lucia, they replied...

"Healthcare services in Saint Lucia are provided by both public and private institutions. The public healthcare system is managed by the Ministry of Health and Wellness and is funded by the government. The quality of public healthcare is generally good, with a range of services available including primary care, hospital care, and specialist care. Foreign residents have access to the public healthcare system, however, they may need to pay for some services. Expats in Saint Lucia can use the public healthcare system, however, they may need to pay for some services. Expats may also choose to use private healthcare services, which are generally of a higher quality than public services," remarked another expat who made the move to Saint Lucia.
