How are healthcare services in Madagascar?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Madagascar, they replied...

"Healthcare services in Madagascar are provided by both public and private institutions. The public healthcare system is largely underfunded and understaffed, resulting in limited access to quality healthcare services. The quality of public healthcare is generally poor, with inadequate medical supplies and equipment, and limited access to specialized care. Foreign residents do have access to the public healthcare system, but the quality of care is not always reliable. Expats in Madagascar often opt to use private healthcare services, which are more expensive but offer better quality care," remarked another expat in Madagascar.
