What are emergency services like in Nepal?
When we asked members about emergency services in Nepal, they wrote...
"Emergency services in Nepal are limited and vary in quality depending on the region. In urban areas, there are some private ambulance services that can be called for medical emergencies. In rural areas, however, access to emergency services is more limited and may require a call to the local police station or health post. To call for an ambulance, one can dial the emergency number 100 from any phone in Nepal," wrote a member who made the move to Nepal.
