Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Delaware if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Wilmington is widely considered to have the best selection of medical specialists in the state of Delaware. Other large cities, such as Dover and Newark, also offer a variety of specialists with comprehensive care. In addition, the Christiana Care and Bayhealth healthcare networks have multiple locations throughout the state, providing access to specialists from a variety of disciplines. Additionally, Delaware has several specialized healthcare centers, including Nemours A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, and Christiana Care’s Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute. These facilities offer specialized, comprehensive care for a wide range of medical issues," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Delaware.
