Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Tennessee if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Tennessee is home to a wide variety of medical specialists, with some of the best selections located in the cities of Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. In Nashville, Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a top-notch facility with a wide range of specialists, while the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville is also highly regarded. In Memphis, the Regional Medical Center is a great option for those seeking medical specialists, and in Chattanooga, Erlanger Health System is a great choice. Additionally, many smaller towns and rural areas throughout the state have excellent medical specialists, making Tennessee a great place to find the care you need," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Tennessee.
