The metropolitan area of San Juan is home to a variety of medical centers, including the University of Puerto Rico Medical Center, the San Juan VA Medical Center, and the San Juan Medical Center. Additionally, the cities of Ponce and Mayagüez are also home to a number of medical specialists, including specialists in cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics. Other cities in Puerto Rico with a wide selection of medical specialists include Caguas, Bayamón, and Carolina," remarked another expat who made the move to Puerto Rico.
