When we asked expats in United States if common prescription medications are available in United States, they wrote...

"Yes, common prescription medications are available in the United States. These medications are typically prescribed by a doctor or other healthcare professional and can be obtained from a pharmacy. Common prescription medications include antibiotics, pain relievers, hormones, antidepressants, and other medications used to treat a variety of medical conditions," commented one expat who made the move to United States.

"Prescription medications are available here, at several pharmacies. It's a little more expensive up front, as I need to pay the full price and then get reimbursed by my insurance afterward (didn't work that way in the states). Compounded medicines are a different story..," remarked another expat in Saipan, US.
