As a foreigner living in New Hampshire, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?

Answer this Question

We asked expats in New Hampshire if they have access to public healthcare in New Hampshire. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...

"Yes, as a foreigner living in New Hampshire, you will have access to public healthcare. The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services provides a variety of services, including Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the New Hampshire Health Protection Program (NHHPP). These programs provide access to health care services for those who are eligible, including low-income individuals, families, and children. The services provided by these programs include preventive care, primary care, hospital care, mental health services, and prescription drugs. Additionally, the state also offers a variety of other health care services, such as dental care, vision care, and long-term care," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to New Hampshire.
