We asked expats in Dominican Rep if they have access to public healthcare in Dominican Rep. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...

"Yes, foreigners living in the Dominican Republic have access to public healthcare. The public healthcare system in the Dominican Republic is generally considered to be of good quality, with a wide range of services available. The public healthcare system is funded by the government and is free for all citizens and legal residents. However, foreigners may be required to pay a fee for certain services. The public healthcare system is also supplemented by a number of private healthcare providers, which offer more specialized services," explained one expat living in Dominican Rep.
