As a foreigner living in Lithuania, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?
We asked expats in Lithuania if they have access to public healthcare in Lithuania. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...
"Yes, as a foreigner living in Lithuania, you will have access to public healthcare. Lithuania has a universal healthcare system, which means that all citizens and legal residents are entitled to free or low-cost healthcare services. The quality of healthcare in Lithuania is generally good, with modern facilities and well-trained medical professionals. The public healthcare system is funded by the government and supplemented by private health insurance," said another expat in Lithuania.
