What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads in Alaska about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...

"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the healthcare system in Alaska. Many healthcare providers have had to adjust their services to accommodate the new safety protocols and guidelines. Telehealth services have become more widely available, allowing patients to access care from the comfort of their own homes. In addition, many healthcare providers have implemented additional safety measures such as temperature checks, mask requirements, and social distancing. Despite the challenges, healthcare providers in Alaska have worked hard to ensure that patients have access to the care they need," remarked another expat who made the move to Alaska.
