"Myanmar's healthcare system has been severely impacted by the pandemic. The country has seen a dramatic increase in the number of cases, with limited resources to respond. Healthcare workers have been stretched thin, with many working long hours and facing shortages of protective equipment. The government has implemented a number of measures to try to contain the spread of the virus, including travel restrictions, social distancing, and the closure of schools and businesses. However, the country's healthcare system is still struggling to cope with the influx of patients. Many hospitals are overcrowded and lack the necessary resources to provide adequate care. In addition, access to healthcare is limited in rural areas, where many people lack access to basic medical services," commented one expat who made the move to Myanmar.
