What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?
When we asked expats and global nomads in Mongolia about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...
"The pandemic has had a significant impact on Mongolia's healthcare system. The country has seen a dramatic increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, and the healthcare system has been strained to its limits. Hospitals have been overwhelmed with patients, and there has been a shortage of medical supplies and personnel. The government has implemented strict measures to contain the spread of the virus, including travel restrictions, social distancing, and the closure of schools and businesses. Despite these measures, the number of cases continues to rise, and the healthcare system is struggling to cope. The government has also implemented a nationwide vaccination program, but the rollout has been slow due to a lack of resources. As a result, many people are still unable to access the healthcare they need," remarked another expat in Mongolia.
