Are foreigners allowed to own property in Zimbabwe?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Zimbabwe if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Zimbabwe. However, they must obtain permission from the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement in order to do so. Additionally, they must provide proof of their identity and residence status, as well as a valid passport. Furthermore, they must also provide proof of their financial ability to purchase the property," said another expat in Zimbabwe.
