Are foreigners allowed to own property in Angola?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Angola if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Foreigners are allowed to own property in Angola, but there are certain restrictions in place. Non-Angolan citizens must obtain a permit from the Ministry of Justice in order to purchase real estate in the country. Additionally, foreigners are not allowed to own land in Angola, but they can own buildings and other structures. Furthermore, foreign investors must have a local partner in order to purchase property in Angola," wrote a member who made the move to Angola.
