Are foreigners allowed to own property in Nevada?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Nevada if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Nevada. Non-U.S. citizens are able to purchase real estate in Nevada just like any other U.S. citizen. However, they may need to obtain a valid visa in order to purchase property in the state. Additionally, they may need to obtain a tax identification number from the Internal Revenue Service in order to purchase property," wrote a member who made the move to Nevada.
