Are foreigners allowed to own property in Utah?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Utah if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Utah. Non-U.S. citizens may purchase real estate in Utah, but they must obtain a valid visa in order to do so. Additionally, they must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Foreigners may also purchase property through a limited liability company (LLC) or other legal entity. However, they must ensure that the entity is properly registered with the state of Utah and that all applicable taxes are paid," remarked another expat who made the move to Utah.
