According to the Congolese Civil Code, foreign individuals and companies are allowed to own real estate in Congo, provided they obtain the necessary authorization from the Congolese government. In addition, foreign companies are allowed to own land in Congo, but they must obtain a special permit from the Ministry of Land Affairs," remarked another expat who made the move to Congo.
