"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Serbia. According to the Serbian Law on Foreigners, foreign citizens and legal entities are allowed to purchase real estate in Serbia, provided that they have a valid residence permit. Foreigners are also allowed to own land, provided that they have obtained a permit from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. Furthermore, foreign citizens and legal entities are allowed to lease real estate in Serbia, provided that they have a valid residence permit," remarked another expat in Serbia.
