Are foreigners allowed to own property in Estonia?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Estonia if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Estonia. Non-residents of Estonia are allowed to purchase real estate in the country, and there are no restrictions on the type of property that can be purchased. Foreigners are also allowed to own land in Estonia, although they must obtain a permit from the local government before they can do so. Additionally, foreign investors are allowed to purchase shares in Estonian companies, and they can also establish their own companies in Estonia," remarked another expat in Estonia.
