"In Rhode Island, residents can enjoy a variety of recreational facilities, such as beaches, parks, golf courses, and trails. The state is home to numerous beaches, including Narragansett Beach, Misquamicut State Beach, and Scarborough State Beach. There are also many parks, such as Colt State Park, Lincoln Woods State Park, and Roger Williams Park, which offer a variety of activities, such as hiking, biking, and fishing. Rhode Island also has several golf courses, such as the Newport National Golf Club, the Quidnessett Country Club, and the Green Valley Country Club. Additionally, the state has a number of trails, including the Blackstone River Bikeway, the East Bay Bike Path, and the Washington Secondary Bike Path," explained one expat living in Rhode Island.
