Are there good restaurants in Martinique?

Answer this Question

When we asked people living in Martinique about good local restaurants, they mentioned...

"One of the most popular restaurants in Martinique is La Table du Marché, located in the capital city of Fort-de-France. This restaurant offers a variety of traditional French dishes, as well as local specialties such as accras (cod fritters) and colombo (a spicy stew). The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is friendly. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g187109-d8450090-Reviews-La_Table_du_Marche-Fort_de_France_Martinique.html Another popular restaurant in Martinique is La Case Creole, located in the town of Le Carbet. This restaurant specializes in traditional Creole cuisine, such as grilled fish, plantains, and yams. The atmosphere is lively and the service is attentive. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g1473133-d8450091-Reviews-La_Case_Creole-Le_Carbet_Martinique.html Finally, La Plage des Salines is a beachfront restaurant located in the town of Sainte-Anne. This restaurant offers a variety of seafood dishes, as well as traditional Caribbean dishes such as accras and colombo. The atmosphere is casual and the service is friendly. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g1473134-d8450092-Reviews-La_Plage_des_Salines-Sainte_Anne_Martinique.html," remarked another expat who made the move to Martinique.

"There isn't much to do at night. Most restaurants are closed, except for a few that are open in Fort de France. You may find random food trucks. And people go for walks in the city. But night life isn't the biggest attraction," explained one expat living in Schoelcher, Martinique.
