How are local medical facilities in Papua New Guinea?

Answer this Question

We asked members about local medical facilities in Papua New Guinea, they wrote...

"Medical facilities and medical care in Papua New Guinea are generally of a lower standard than in many other countries. Access to medical care is limited, particularly in rural areas, and the quality of care is often inadequate. The availability of medicines and medical supplies is also limited, and the cost of medical care is often prohibitively expensive for many people. Despite these challenges, the government is making efforts to improve access to healthcare and the quality of care," remarked another expat who made the move to Papua New Guinea.
