"The cost of living in Florida varies depending on the area, but generally tends to be higher than the national average. Rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in Florida can range from around $800 to $1,600 per month, and rent for a 2 bedroom apartment can range from around $1,000 to $2,200 per month. Dinner for two at a moderately priced restaurant will usually cost around $50," wrote a member who made the move to Florida.
