"The cost of living in Minnesota is generally higher than the US average. According to recent surveys, a nice 1 bedroom apartment costs around $1,000 per month while a nice 2 bedroom apartment is around $1,160 per month. The average costs of dinner at a moderately priced restaurant is about $15 to $20 per person," commented one expat who made the move to Minnesota.
