"The cost of living in Croatia is generally considered to be quite reasonable. Prices for basic goods and services are generally lower than in many other European countries. However, the cost of living in the larger cities such as Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik is higher than in the rest of the country. Rental prices for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Croatia can range from around $400 to $800 per month, while a nice 2 bedroom apartment can range from around $600 to $1,200 per month. The cost of eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Croatia can range from around $10 to $20 per person," said another expat in Croatia.
