We asked people about the cost of living in Lebanon, they wrote...

"The cost of living in Lebanon is generally high, especially in the capital city of Beirut. The cost of living in Beirut is significantly higher than in other parts of the country, due to its status as a major metropolitan area. The rental price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Lebanon is typically around $1,000 USD per month, while a nice 2 bedroom apartment can cost around $1,500 USD per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Lebanon can cost around $20 USD per person," remarked another expat who made the move to Lebanon.
