What are the visa & residency requirements in Idaho?

Answer this Question

We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Idaho, they wrote...

"To apply for a visa in Idaho, individuals must first contact the United States Department of State. Applicants are required to provide proof of legal entry into the country as well as details of their travel plans and the purpose of their stay. After submitting the required documents and paying the visa application fee, applicants then must attend an in-person interview with an embassy representative. Following a successful interview, the applicant may be approved for a visa and receive the visa in the mail. To apply for residency in Idaho, individuals must follow a series of steps which includes obtaining a yearly social security card, obtaining a state identification card or driver's license, and filing Virginia tax returns. Once these steps have been completed, individuals may apply to the United States Department of Homeland Security to confirm their legal rights to reside in the United States. Once accepted, individuals must then fill out an application for a residence permit and submit it to the United States Immigration and Citizenship Services. After reviewing their application, the USCIS may grant an applicant residency status," said a member in Idaho.
