What are the visa & residency requirements in Indiana?

Answer this Question

We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Indiana, they wrote...

"In order to obtain a visa for entry into Indiana, an individual must first submit an application to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), requesting permission to travel to the United States. Depending on the type of visa sought, it may require a valid passport, supporting documents (such as birth certificate, proof of employment and financial stability, etc.), and an interview at a regional US embassy or consulate. Applying for residency in Indiana involves submitting an application to the USCIS to gain permanent residence in the United States. This process includes filing the appropriate forms and documents, undergoing a medical examination and providing evidence of legal entry into the United States. A foreign national may also need to attend an interview with an immigration officer to provide evidence of their eligibility. Depending on the individual's particular qualifications, they may also need to meet other criteria to become a permanent resident in the United States," explained one expat living in Indiana.
