What are the visa & residency requirements in Nevada?

Answer this Question

We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Nevada, they wrote...

"To obtain a visa to stay in Nevada, individuals must apply through the U.S. Department of State, which includes completing the DS-160 application and paying the visa application fee. If approved, they will be sent an electronic visa, which they must present to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers upon entry into the country. To apply for permanent residency, or a green card, the individual must first have their petition for status approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Then they will need to gather evidence of financial viability to show that they are able to cover living costs for the duration of their stay, as well as pay the filing and processing fees. From there, the individual must submit their application, along with the evidence, to the designated office. Once approved, they will receive their green card which will allow them to securely reside in the U.S. permanently," said another expat in Nevada.
