What are the visa & residency requirements in Ghana?

Answer this Question

We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Ghana, they wrote...

"To enter Ghana, visitors must obtain a visa from a Ghanaian embassy or consulate prior to arrival. The process of applying for a visa involves submitting a completed visa application form, a valid passport, two passport-sized photographs, and a fee. Depending on the purpose of the visit, additional documents may be required. To apply for residency in Ghana, applicants must submit a completed application form, a valid passport, two passport-sized photographs, a medical certificate, a police report, and a fee. Applicants may also be required to provide proof of financial means, a letter of invitation, and/or a letter of employment. Once the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a residence permit," remarked another expat who made the move to Ghana.
