Jobs in Dominican Republic

My family is considering relocating to DR. My situation is a bit different b/c we do have a lot of family living there currently, but we would be the first US born, college degrees and expansive career history in both Education and Human Resources. My husband is interested in teaching at a Private school at the middle school or high school level. He also teaches here at the college level but I heard that universities there don't pay much. He does NOT know Spanish, and neither do our 2 children. As for me, I have over 10 year of Human resources experience and am fully bilingual. Would it be hard to land jobs prior to moving there OR do we kind of need to move there and then look for jobs? Thank you kindly.
