Relocating-Work-Haitian Girlfriend

Here we go, I am English and have been living in Haiti for the last 5 years. we want to move to Santo Domingo, we know Haitians are not appreciated, however Miralda is an English teacher and is completely fluent and has some Spanish.

Is it generally difficult to o live in the DR, we both want to work, although I have no Spanish at all at the moment.

We can rent or buy with a budget of $100,000.00 cash.

We need a 2 bed secure apartment or small house.

are there many restrictions on foreigners in the DR what would we need to be legal in the DR.

Help much appreciated.
