I've been checking out real estate prices since January and noted that most of the villas I've checked out are still on the market 7 months later (Sousua, Puerto Plata, Cabarete area) . Even in January it was clear that offers well under the asking prices were being successful. Yet every real estate site says that the market is great and it is a good investment etc. etc. Any education/opinions on how the market is historically, where its at now and where it might go in the near future would be appreciated as I am considering a move.
