I am planning on moving to Algiers in January 2010 permanently. I am 100% nervous about this move from London to Algiers despite visiting many times and even know my way around a little.
What I would really appreciate is some information regarding the following:
1) How can I meet ex pats (English speaking as I do not speak French nor Algerian) - is there a community I can join? Is it worth me starting a club (free for all international ladies and local women)?
2) English speaking doctors - I need a gynaecologist and a ENT specialist - any one heard of any or know any?
3) Can any one advise me where I can get a maid / nanny that is trustworthy? No offence meant by the comment but you know what I mean - it is about trusting them with your most precious possessions and gifts
4) Which is the best gym?
5) Which is the best language school to study French?
