I am just in a big loss... Here is my story.
We have met with a good girl in one app. We had a friendly conversation and I supported her when she was ill.
We discussed some themes like culture, arts and religion.
After some days we filled that we cannot be just a friends and we want meet each other. So we exchanged our pictures made in parks and other places. Also we had video calls.
The problem started when I found that I as Russian citizen need a visa to visit Algeria. It turned out that now it is not easy to get it.
Then I started searching the wedding customs of Tlemcen city. I was surprised not only by the beaty of the wedding tradition, but also by the price paid by the groom! (from 20 thousands to 35 thousands dollars!)
My main concern is that I don't have even the half of the money. I am poor and the girl is poor as well. She is honest, kind, very simple and smart. She is pretty as well.
My question is - can we get married without such amount of money? She would like to be my wife even after I told how poor I am ($200 per month is my salary).
There is such thing in Algeria as civil marriage? What are the requirements an how much it costs?
Also I will have to become muslim.
Any advice, please?
